A tantalising pre-dinner cocktail.

Serves 4.
Prep Time: 15 minutes (plus chilling time).

Ingredients 

  •  1/2 cup Royal Pom™ pomegranate juice, freshly squeezed
  •  1L lemonade 
  •  Ice cubes 
  •  1/3 cup vodka (optional), chilled

Preparation Instructions

  • Cut 1 large Royal Pom™ pomegranate in half (as you would a grapefruit) and juice using a citrus juicer. 
  • Pour mixture through a cheesecloth-lined strainer or sieve, discarding seeds.
  • Cover the juice with plastic wrap and chill. 
  • Half fill glasses with ice cubes. 
  • Divide pomegranate juice evenly between 4 glasses and top with lemonade. 
  • If you wish, add 1 tbsp chilled vodka.

A decadent drink which suits any celebratory occasion!

Serves 4.

  •  Crushed ice (optional)  
  •  1/3 cup vodka, chilled 
  •  1/2 bottle sparkling wine, chilled

Preparation Instructions 

  • Cut 1 large Royal Pom™ pomegranate in half (as you would a grapefruit) and juice using a citrus juicer. 
  • Pour mixture through a cheesecloth-lined strainer or sieve, discarding the seeds. Cover the juice with plastic wrap and chill. 
  • Half-fill 4 champagne flutes with crushed ice, if using. 
  • Divide chilled Royal Pom™ pomegranate juice among the flutes, and then top each with 1 tbsp vodka. 
  • Top up with the sparkling wine.

Fruit Punch

This punch combines the freshness of the very best berries with the zing of perfect pomegranates.

Serves 6.

Prep Time: 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 Royal POM™ pomegranates, opened, arils removed
  • 1 x 250g punnet strawberries, hulled, washed, thinly sliced
  • 1 x 150g punnet blueberries
  • 1/2 cup loosely packed fresh mint leaves
  • 185ml (3/4 cup) peach schnapps
  • 1 x 750ml bottle pink sparkling wine, chilled

Preparation Instructions

  • Place the pomegranate arils, strawberries, blueberries, mint and schnapps in a large glass jug. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 1 hour to develop the flavours.
  • Add the sparkling wine and serve.

Margarita

Pomegranate juice adds a whole new dimension to this classic cocktail.

Serves 4.

Prep Time: 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 Royal Pom™ pomegranates, arils removed
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 250ml (1 cup) gold tequila
  • 250ml (1 cup) fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbs caster sugar
  • Caster sugar, to decorate

Preparation Instructions

  • Place the sugar on a plate. Rub the rim of each glass with the lime wedge. Dip the rim of each glass in the sugar to coat.
  • Place the tequila, lime juice, pomegranate arils and sugar in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve, gently pushing the arils through with the back of a spoon. Discard remaining pulp.
  • Pour into prepared glasses. Serve.

Tip

  • Prepare this recipe to the end of step 1 up to 6 hours ahead. Continue from step 2 up to 15 minutes before serving.
